Re: Tech Pictures of the HDT engine
I am sure the fuel pump must have been custom made/engineered for the high speed of the engine.

Re: Tech Pictures of the HDT engine
^Unfortunately no. Maybe if the military decides to sell their HDTs. Has anyone seen one for sale? Any idea on when they will start selling them? I have seen these pictures before. I always like to go back and admire the engineering. What I want to know is the inside of the high speed injection pump...

Re: Greek Opposed Piston Diesel
Two-stroke diesels have great output, but they require forced induction and are not very clean running (it's a two cycle problem). They do run cool though! In addition, they are quite loud. I don't particularly feel like sitting in a pile of nasty emissions at every stoplight on my motorcycle! Biod...

Ah, the suspense is killing me.
What could be more important than a diesel KLR 650? (You don't have to answer that, I am just being enthusiastic)

How much did the original engine cost?
So the damage may have been caused by thin oil, otherwise it would have been fine?

Re: Punsun 20hp ..any good ?
Ok, may I suggest that the Punsun team increase quality first and then horsepower ratings.
Large horsepower is pointless unless Punsun team can successfully create an engine that is super reliable.

1985 Honda Interceptor 500
Hi, Is it possible to fit a Punsun v twin or Lambordini 2 maybe 3 cylinder diesel into a 1985 Honda Interceptor 500? I am just trying to get my head around trying to build a sport/touring bike, but I just need people that have actually done it to let me know what is involved in building something li...

Wow, how did you find that video? It helps explain what to do to counteract the problem caused by the turbo. I wonder why they built that in there in the first place, maybe this engine was ment to be turboed?
Oh and I couldnt find their ebay store.

Re: CB500T Punsun Hardtail Bobber
Is this where you got your engine from?
http://www.vtwinengine.com/
There is a 25hp version as well.
Have you had any issues with the engine so far?
Where can you get a part (like an oil filter) from?
How much hp has the turbo added? What is it off of from.
Is the ride comfortable?

Re: Hi, I am looking at a 1986 Yamaha Radian
So, with the engine that I would buy. What is the best CVT that would "fit" that engine? I dont need anything expensive, but it has to be able to cruise around 60mph and have a top speed(if possible) around 70-80mph.

Hi, I am looking at a 1986 Yamaha Radian
Hi, Ive been really interested in building a diesel bike for a while now. I been researching a lot lately, but still have many questions. So, I am looking to buy a 1986 Yamaha Radian 600 for $150 off of craigslist. Then a 10hp Carroll Stream engine for around $650. Any reviews or comments about this...
