After long seacrh I found quite suitable engine for my project bike: Niko Pover Diesel 20hp V twin, as it´s sold here in Finland.
Every bit of data is welcome since local dealer doesn´t provide more than price & photos and vigorous googling resulted practically nothing but photos I´ve alredy got.
Idoubt it´s chinese/taiwanese/korean clone of another more known engine.
they are pretty easy to deal with at punsun. i've dealt with angela@punsunpower.com. i get them myself here in the states, and i'm pretty sure the eu could get them easier, as our laws in the US are very assinine at times. 680 usd for the engine, and about another 650 usd for shipping to the west coast US. with tax (VAT) and import fees total comes to around 1450 usd. not too bad. timpaxx, i would email them directly. they may know importers or the laws surrounding importing to the eu. worth an email i think. i've also a mate in china fairly close to nantong, where punsun has its factory, so he may be able to aid in your process as well.

The Punsun (Punsen?) is nice, but how reliable over time, no one knows.....
Air cooled is also nice in a bike frame....doesn't Finland get kinda chilly in the winter? Anyways, a better engine would be a Kubota or Yanmar, but that would involve liquid cooling. Hatz would be super expensive, but built to stay in the frame for a long time. I had a 7hp Hatz that was around 690cc's I bought at the local flee market years ago. Needed a crankshaft cause it had been started without oil in it once. At the time I decided to get rid of it, but now I'd have to rethink my decision. When I tore into it, I was amazed on the
size and weight of the engine components...huge and heavy, built like a tank, so to speak.

Local Hatz importer doesn´t seem to have customer service, since they don´t answer my mail.
Hatz, 2G40, is just and just too heavy for my project, due our national regulations. So looking after Punsun´s engines. More kW, less weight.
I mailed request to Angela in Punsun about having one shipped to me.
That Niko is truly rebadged Punsun. No idea who or where has done rebadging. Maybe gyu who imports and sells them one by one as have sold ones in stock.
So my project haven´t stalled - yet. It´s just gathering more speed.
