Has anyone any experience with dying leather, and preparing it ready to take the new finish? Seems to be a variety of expensive proprietary systems around, and I am wondering if anyone has any personal experience.
I skinned a large white leather sofa, abandoned in the street, last night. I'd like to use it to upholster my (empty) wreck of a Busmar double-adult sidecar. But maybe white would be OK, along with some walnut veneer....
