Diesel Motorcycle for sale
1981 Honda CB125S with a Hatz 1B20 diesel engine (232cc) and automatic belt drive transmission.
This bike starts easily (rope pull), runs great, sounds awesome and gets alot of attention.
All the electrics on the bike work, including the headlight, turn signals, brake light, horn.
This bike was originally 6 volts, now it is 12 volts.
Both tires and tubes are new. The tires are for on/off road use. The brakes are in great shape.
I have 2 keys for the bike, and the fork and helmet locks work.
The seat has one small tear. Besides the different engine transmission, nearly everything else is original.
It is easy to drive this motorcycle, there is no clutch lever to operate and no shifting, it is the same as driving a scooter or moped.
I estimate the fuel mileage to be 110 mpg. top speed is ~43mph. cruise speed is 35-40mph.
This spring, I rode this bike to the Slimey Crud Run near prairie du sac,
I don't know if everyone loved it, but there were plenty of people looking at it!
I will have a you-tube video up shortly.
Also see dieselbike.net for another description of the bike.
http://www.dieselbike.net/privateconver ... onsA-H.htm go about 3/4 down the page.
Serious inquiries only. A clean and clear title is ready for the new owner (I registered it last year). $2100 obo. (look up the price of just the engine, $1650 at northern tool)
partial trades for the following would be considered: metal lathe (9-10" chuck, with tooling), newer plasma torch /cutter, vertical band saw (metal), big drill press, car dolly. No 3 phase equipment!
CALLS ONLY 5pm to 8pm weekdays, and 8am-8pm on the weekend.
four - one - four - 4 o 5 - 77 zero nine.
