Thanks :)

Dont worry, I wont be asking how things work :P

Got 2 stationary diesels so it sort of sprouted into "I want a diesel bike" :P

Welcome Igor :D
they are certainly the bikes to ride if you are reluctant to open the wallet all the time, lol. I read the motorcycle press (to keep my finger on the pulse) but am currently reading a biography of Fred Dibnah which is fasinating. My sympathy's lay more towards guys like that than the 'Power Rangers' side of things :D 19th century man rather than 21st I think :!:

Hope you find your stay here rewarding :!:

Yes welcome Igor, warning diesel bikes become infectious, some giving in to build bigger and better bikes.

I much prefer older engineering than modern stuff :P

I must admit, a bike that gets better fuel efficiency than my current one would be nice :P
Honda VTR1000 Firestorm... 30mpg is my average

All I need to do is to work out what engine and gearbox I want (I dont want a CVT or an auto)
Got a late 90's Honda CB500 (500cc liquid cooled parallel twin) which would be nice to retrofit with a diesel...

For anyone who doesn't know what they are:

(later models like mine have a rear disc instead of drum)

EDIT: Forgot to add, that thumpy vibey engines aren't something I worry about :P
used to have a honda 650 single air cooled dirtbike...damn thing bounced around like it was alive :P
