Its powered by a C1.1 cat. (aka perkins 400 series 1113cc 3 cyl.) Will be turbocharged, seeing around 20lbs boost, turned up and built to crush and exceed 160kph. It has a 200mm rear tire, springer front end, softail rear suspension, 6 speed trans, open belt primary, jockey shift on right side with hand clutch on left. Trying to do everything i can in house, all the machine work especialy (bar clamps, pulley drive flange, foward controls, etc)
Will do, I have ordered tires and a fender which should arive this week, so i will have some more pics when i put them on. Shouldnt be to much longer until shes finished.
I can tell you from experience with the last diesel bike, a 1/2" craftsman wrench, when droped in the primary drive becomes shaped like a horse shoe and blows a hole through quite an expensive belt. scary it is to.
Fantastic bike! Managed to stick my foot in my primary one day while reaching for the kickstand...Redwing makes a fine product. I was fine(but humbled), but wrecked the belt and the rear pulley. Pricey stuff it's true!

If Mitsubishi owns Daihatsu, I think my Daihatsu Diesels are Cats!

Caterpillar Mitsubishi Ltd. started production in 1965, has been renamed Shin Caterpillar Mitsubishi Ltd., and is now the No. 2 maker of construction and mining equipment in Japan.

Thanks for the good words, not much left on her now. Its really coming along and looks like a bike. The shop is covered in chips, curly bits of aluminum and parts are all coming together. Just need a turbocharger, radiator, brake calipers, build the foot controls, and the small misc stuff. Should have some new pics soon. I cant wait til this ones done, to bad its already geting chilly but i plan to ride until december. I got the frame, front end, and rims from demons. I am very disapointed with the quality of the frame compaired to my last one. I re worked a good bit of the frame to fit the engine, but need to blast the primer off the rest and re weld every bit of it because i dont trust it, and will not chance a break, especially after i get it powder coated. But for the price for something i was cuting up anyway i couldnt beat it.
Sorry for the slacking on updates, heres some finished pics. Bike runs great, balanced, 600lbs, a true blast to ride. Runs 115 mph at 4000rpm, 20psi of manifold pressure under load, and sounds awesome.

OCC should be the last element in the list. Mea culpa! Their build may be most noticed in the world, but it wasn't the first.
The first converted harley we noticed here in europe was build from a guy names Harold Benich from Albion in Pennsylvania using a Perkins engine and it looks like this:

Are your knees bent a lot? The pegs look far back, was that due to the primary, and the fan belts? That engine was made by shibaura out of japan. Good engines they have been put in lots of equipment over the years, perkins marketed them for a decade or so until they were bought by cat. I've got a c1.5 in my new holland skidsteer.
Nice build.
Thanks. Im actually quite comfortable on it. Have made many 100+ mile trips without stoping and no discomfort. The riding position is well suited to carving turns and tucking in and leting it eat fuel Bumped the revs up abit more and top speed is about 120 now. The bikes to much fun and is going to get me in trouble
