Diesel Tiger Plans Request

You guys think about this!
I know Heiko is selling these converted Tigers.
They are great!
But, with importing and exporting being such a pain, maybe we could get him to sell us some blueprints to the parts needed to mate and mount the engine and tranny in the Tiger Frame. And we can just sell the Conversion Kit to the North American Bunch.
I have the tools and shop to duplicate the pieces. Maybe he'll let us market them for hin for a % piece of the pie when we sell them.
This way he won't have to import any to the US and he can make some side money without having to work for it.
I've got benders (flat and round), welders, band saws, lifts and space to do these conversion parts and even the entire conversion out here in North Texas.
Everything needed to make these kits. Here's a picture of my shop, just so you'll know I'm serious.

I've built a lot of 4X4 Rock Crawlers and Adventure Bikes over the years. Now I'm into diesel bikes.
This is one of our Tech Days in my shop.

How about it Heiko? Care to open up an US Office?

This would be a whole lot easier and faster for me.
No sense in re-engineering the pieces if I can just reproduce them.

Beside, I'm about to retire from my day job, so I will have the time!

It's an intresting idea that I love except two things.

One; Lombardini engine Heicko uses not easily available in us. The Briggs and Stratt Diahatsu is lighter and seems better in other aspects including availablity in the US.

Two, Not enough Tigers in the US in general. Very few made it to the US. I chose tiger cause I wanted specifically a dual sport and heickos success with it, but I went into it knowing the availablity issues.

sooooo if you want to do a US kit..... you better pick a different bike that is readily available here. If you want to make any money then lean toward a street bike. Sounds like your an offroader type though and prefer dualsport/Adv. bikes and thats great. Just be aware if you go that route you'll pull in a little less doe. then again... little less work in volume too and that can be good for a man who is suppose to be retiring LOL.

oh and by the way, about your shop...

my appolies if drool is dripping from your puter. Im sure some of mine must have made it into the web matrix style.

Wish you were north TX. Might as well be a whole state away down there from where I am.

Curtis, I too have petitioned Hieko to release his plans but maybe he needs an incentive to do so Hopefully, for the good of the community here, he may one day be persuaded to do this I hope so anyway
