I called the Dutch branch of Hatz, inquiring about a repair/service manual. They said the required person was busy and if they could call me back. Since my other question about retrofitting a balancing shaft is still unanswered (they will call me back, do you notice a pattern

) I'm looking for another way to obtain one.

Hatz has an online shop, which I registered for, but apparently they only stock engine parts. Any alternatives?

Dan, apparently you didn't bother to check the documents. None of them are a repair manual. The service sheet mentions it, but it's not available for download.

There's the service sheet which you can print and keep handy for all those torques. Then there's an "owner's manual" type document (instruction book). Finally there is the spare parts list. Which is... a list of spare parts.

I want something similar to a Haynes manual.

Ah well - worth a go. They are the service manuals but not the repair. Good luck getting the repair manuals out of Hatz...

Hatz NL is sending me a manual. The price is 16 euro, excluding shipping. Have to pay at the door. It's available in English and in German.
