Kubota SuperMini Full Application Manuals + Dwg's + CAD

Please find attached the complete Application Manuals for the Kubota SuperMini Series of engines.
These cover the Z482, Z602, D722 & D902.
The documents include everything needed to calculate the correct exhaust pipe dimensions for optimal performance, likewise with the Intake.
(think turbo charging is discussed too )
How to mount the Engines properly along with correct transmission/PTO mounting.
Centre of mass - Perticularly useful in a motorbike.
Engine dimensions.
Maximum lean angles for reliable operation when mounted.
Coolant system design for optimal cooling ect...

Well just have a look lots and lots of useful information along with lots of stuff none of us will probably understand - I asked for everything they would send an OEM wanting to use there engines and to my total shock they did!!!

These documents are to be used in conjunction with the "Technical Information Document" I have renamed the files as "Z482" but they are universal throughout the SuperMini Series of engines.
I have attached the "technical Information Document" for the Z482 but that is all I have available as that is the engine I am using in my build.
All these doc's are hot off the press from Kubota today!
(It's amazing what a politely worded e-mail can do and telling them about my project - these were all free of charge )

To top this off... I haven't got them yet but expecting Kubota to send them me tomorrow as he wanted to confirm he had the correct drawings first but they are sending me full technical drawings for the exterior of the engine with bolt hole PCD's, Datum points, Thread depths, distances ect... for the Z482 and also including the CAD Model for it too!!
Obviously I will add these ASAP as to benefit us all

So... the guy I was speaking too at Kubota check the drawings against my serial number and came back saying;
"The serial number that has been provided is from a Aixam-Mega and due to our Non-Disclosure Agreement I cannot send you any CAD files or Technical Drawings"
Then proceeded to try and sell me a new engine....

After a bit more back and forth he agreed to send me the "standard" variant of the CAD Model, which, to be honest, is all I needed.
I can use AutoCAD or solid works or something with that and its good enough for my purposes it just doesn't show all the Aixam specific stuff which is fine but at the end of the day its the same engine.

Unfortunately he could not include "technical drawings" for some reason (changed his tune a bit when he found out the engine was second hand and from 2003)
Having said this there are some technical drawings attached in the previous files he sent, so not all is lost, any more dimensions needed will be able to be pulled from the model.
Only downside is it wont state tolerances from the CAD model.

The CAD Model is in the very common STP format.

Thank you for sharing all of this, but be careful tough. I also went to a Kubota dealer, (in person,) to ask for these things, but I had to SIGN a non-disclosure Agreement, which is why they aren't up here.

Doesn't sound like you had to sign anything, but ya know, before we get Kubota's legal team on us/you/whatever.

My original e-mail I sent them stated "I wasn't after anything commercially sensitive" just the package the OEMs would receive so I could use there engine in my design.

The NDA there were referencing was Aixams NDA there was absolutely no mention of anything else and after my first e-mail they sent me the majority of documents.
I don't want to get into any problems so thanks for the heads up, I'll keep the e-mails then at least I can prove I wasn't told not to share and I didn't have to sign anything if Kubota's legal team come after me.

Also if asked to by them I would remove these documents from this site without hesitation.....

However in the mean time....
How can I share this lovely CAD file with everyone??????? as stated its 25MB

I had a look trough the documents, doesn't seem that sensitive to me, so I think you're good.

You could upload the CAD file to dropbox, google drive or some other file sharing site then share us the URL for that site.
Make sure to zip it and put a password on it, (and tell us said password!), so you don't exceed the bandwidth limit from people on other websites.

...BUT! I was especially asked not to share the CAD file, don't know how detailed the one you have is but that might be sensitive.

The link is working fine and will allow you to download the CAD Model, There is no "preview" available as its a .stp file but it downloads without issue.
Having said that, if you have a problem comment on this thread and i'll try to sort it, for some reason my PM isnt working on here???
