Has anyone any information about the compulsory dayglow jacket law that was supposed to be implemented in France this year? Is it in law yet?

Apparently the French are a little sensitive about satellite navigation devices with added extras.

Is there anything else we should know about?

No idea, esepcially after the big MAG ride out I went on, all gone quiet on the fb front.

Until it is a European law they can't force foreigners to adhere to their rule when it comes to clothing.

In France helmets also need to have x surface of reflective material. People from other EU countries don't need to have that on their helmet last time i checked (year ago).

Apparently most clothing with built in reflective pieces would have been sufficient anyway.
They were not talking about compulsory hi-viz jackets.
Still it was a silly proposal for the reasons mentioned and was scrapped.
