Peugeot - guzzi

Post by Nanko »

The first step to register the bike was made yesterday.
The frame was checked for bad welding joints.
It passed and got registration numbers.
Next step is testing road handling and sound emission.
I need few months to rebuild , so it looks like the bike will be legal on the road just before the summer starts ...

This is the 600 euro RDW check? I take it the new framenumber means you will also lose the blue plates, featured in your youtube movie?

Pity...
'92 Enfield + Hatz 1B40: street legal, weld up stainless exhaust, check engine rpm and change final drive sprocket.

This check was "only" 84 EURO , but I am affraid the bill I have to pay in Lelystad will be much higher
And yes , the bike will get a new identity , my nice blue , road-tax free vintage plates are not valid anymore........ pity indeed
