Hondas new Hydralic drive
In Motorcycle news ( techwatch) it talks about the new transmission called the HFT (human friendly transmission), basically swashplate or wobbleplate hydraulic pump, pumping too a chamber,on the other end similar arrangement, ratios are changed by altering the angle of the driven wobble plate. In the highest ratio the two plates lock together so no loss of oil pressure. More efficient than variable belt drive but more expensive.
