This has been on ebay uk for some time. It has got to be a bargain. It comes complete with the CVT and gearbox. "realnutter " posted this back in August 2011 "He doesn't know what he's got" and I believe he is trying to sell it as plant machinery hence the slow sale.
The gearbox is no good for a bike so could be sold off(around £200)
If bought new a similar cv tech cvt would cost around £400 or more if bought from Aixam.
A used engine would probably cost £300+
The engine/cvt could be mounted to a standard bike easily with the addition of a jack shaft although a larger bike would be preferable as the transmission sticks out.
It could be mounted sideways in a shaft drive bike??
With the addition of a jack shaft, on either type, gearing could be altered easily with sprockets.
The rear pulley is 3/4" or possibly 19mm. Mine is 3/4" shaft but it is a tight fit. The aixam gearbox shaft is shouldered down to that size.
It also comes with the radiator and the front part of the exhaust.
