Nearing completetion of the project and need to make up some custom cables for throttle and engine stop.
Various kits seem to be on the market but before i spend the money i wondered if there are any top tips to making cables. What nipples are strongest, best ways of attaching them, recommended uk suppliers, that sort of thing.
Thanks in advance.

Cable making
Venhill kits are good quality with loads of nipple options as well as posh cables with liners.
I use plumbers solder and flux with no issues so far and a small gas torch (usually sold in cookshops for making Creme Brulle)
It's a good idea to 'splay' the cable ends before soldering and be careful not to overheat the cable as this makes them brittle.
It's also easy to carry some spares and a tiny pencil torch for roadside repairs (but I've only needed to use this on factory cables after a failure.
Bicycle stainless gear wires make good throttle cables - cheap and easily obtained - brake wires are thicker and can be used for clutch cables in an emergency. I'd steer away from brake cable manufacture except in an emergency but as you have hydraulics for these.......
