Found this site today. Not sure what the main difference is with these and the Comet Series. The 3rd one down could handle the 10HP clone and is easily adjustable. Also looks to be considerably cheaper.
What is your take on these. Also seem to have a nice assortment of sprokets.

No bike yet...but working on it. A Yanmar 10HP clone hopeful on whatever frame I can get or build.
After I posted this last night I went online to see what I could find out about them even though they had no name brand. I found similar ones and read a lot of reviews on Northern Tool about the Extreme duty Converters. Every single person said they were crap an either a tooth broke on it within an hour or it completely burned up with one hour and that was with weak engines. I think you are right I think I will stick to the comet.

Centrifgal Clutch
Well as a matter of fact I'll have my Hoggerini on the road in the next couple of weeks. Using a 954cc Ruggerini RD211 and a modified Noram Tri-Lobe Centrifugal Clutch in a 1981 Honda CB 650. I'll post photos. I've been keeping this under wraps until I get some performance data.

Please note, the tri-lobe i an industrial unit and a little over kill for my application , 50hp max and $549 and close to $300 in machine shop charges to get what I needed. A much cheaper HD clutch rated @ a max of 20HP could be had for around $249, ideal for the 10hp clones and buy a couple of different sprockets for different riding geography.
My personal view is that the centrifugal clutch is actually a better system than a CVT in city and freeway applications. I’ll keep you posted.
Good luck.

Good to know there is another company out there making good stuff.
Not to be a booger but I hate when sites are not finished. I sure hope you get it up soon. I would love to see what you are doing.
