Behind the scenes

Post by Stuart »

Just to let UK diesel motorcycle builders & riders know, I have written to the Secretary of State for Transport urging them the give us a (Road) Tax break come the budget. I've pointed out a few obvious advantages and hopefully there'll be a positive outcome but I'll not be holding my breath :D
Anything we can do to encourage the use of diesel powered bikes has got to be tried in my book :D There are presently so few diesel bikes on the road here that a reduction or suspension of Road Tax won't hurt the Treasurey none.
I'll keep you informed of any progress :!:

Interesting Stuart. Especially when the CO2 banding does not apply like with newer cars.

With all those oil burning 2 strokes about in Europe hopefully that won't come into the equation. Encouraging slower, safer bikes might just work
