I've got my OC95 running pretty good after 2 months and waiting for repairs and installation. Using the same gearing as when my bike was Kamaclone powered produced less than needed top speed of around 45 mph flat out. Today, I dropped my jackshaft sprocket 1 tooth to 14 and went for a spin, top speed was around 48 mph, and the engine sounded happier, almost getting on the pipe sound wise.
With this gearing, I still cannot get me Comet drive unit to max out pushing the belt all the way to the top, but it's close. So, do I need to drop my jackshaft sprocket another tooth, bringing my final ration to what I've been told is the ideal ratio of 6 to 1 (yes, I have no scientific means to support the 6 to 1 theory

), or back off the engine speed limiter a half turn or so to get more rpm out of my engine? My manual saids "do not adjust" the max screw, nor the fueling screw as they are set at the factory.....however, this engine runs supper lean, there is not exhaust smoke or odor!
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Cris
