I finally collected all and reassembled after all the parts back into a bike after painting it. I also up graded the jackshaft to 1" after breaking the 3/4" one. The heads were pulled for one leaking head gasket. The timing was reset to 18 BTDC from 25 on the front and 14 on the rear. The engine vibration is much less and the troll that was hammering in the front cylinder now has a smaller hammer. The fuel consuption appears to be reduced with the timing correction I'll run a few tanks through and see. The twin to my bike is nearing completion as well as an XS400 that we have bobbed and hard tailed. There is a full blown bike week here in Kingston this year and they have asked for the diesels to be there which they will. I will also post the link in events http://www.ktownbikeweek.com/userfiles/ ... 20copy.pdf.

That's good that you're back up and running there Sean. Make sure to put all your bikes details onto a laminated card prior to the show. I've found doing that saves the voice-box somewhat

Hi Stuart
Took your advise last year and made up business cards. I was stopped last week talking to a friend and a fellow showed wanting to know if it was the diesel bike he had seen on the web. Turns out he has been on the site and could not believe he found the bike here in Kingston. I'm busting my ass to get the other bike done in time to have them both there.
