v2 diesel engine in fenland choppers frame
I'm in the costing process of building a bike at the moment. Fenland Choppers do a good rolling chassis kit at a good price. I looked deeply into CVT and that's the way to go for me. Now it's just a case of engine. I'd like to use a V2 diesel engine but I've had a good dig around the website and can't find any prices. Could someone please please please giv e me a guesstimate - brand new in a box, delivered to the door? I've got 4 years to get this sorted out. I've started to save in earnest.

Re: v2 diesel engine in fenland choppers frame
After much debate among my 3 mates and a small word of advice from my father who has been building things for longer than I've been alive - this is the plan. Father recommends I use a 3 cylinder Kabuta engine with CVT drive and after much debate the winner of the frame competition is a wormburner built by Hard up Choppers. The frame is built to accept Suzuki running gear so the next plan is to raise the cash for the frame, donor bike, engine and CVT. If I can say it really fast it doesn't sound that bad. I've already had some donations from friends. I've got a seat. For the rest of this month I shall be busy e-baying. Meantime see you all at the Big Knock.
