In case anyone is interested, here are a couple pics of the clone powered Enfield I recently finished. I was out for a little jaunt through the Black Hills with it.

New Enfield Conversion

Top job, well done.

I see you went with loosing the starter rather than chop the frame to clear.

What gearbox sprocket did you go for?

G'day Tim

Nice bike mate! Looks real fresh, like it has just rolled out of the factory. Bet your surprised with just how much power these little engines have.

I'm looking forward to taking my ole girl out tomorrow weather permitting - it's done nothing but rain and flood here

Great to see yet another Enfield make it to diesel completion.

Cheers mate!

Andrew

Thanks for the kind words guys. Dave, I started out with a 19t sprocket, but felt it was too tall for the elevation and terrain we have in western South Dakota so am now using an 18t. By my calculations (measuring the circumference of the tire) I am turning 3580 at an honest 60mph.
