Hi all,
anyone know of the technical name for the 5 speed Enfield gearbox mainshft splines?
If anyone has the technical drawings so much the better.
Cheers
Ian

Thanks for the reply, but I needed a technical diagram of the splines, noting every angle, and mesurments of grooves and splines.
There should be a propper tech name for this spline arangment, Bsi, Din, Ansi etc.

Sorry should have said, it's the splines where the clutch fits over.

I knew I had this somewhere
This is all I have of the box itself.

Thanks for that, I'm sure that they will be very useful.
I was going to get an engineering company to make a bolt together coupling to extend the 5 speed gearbox shaft, using the tech drawing for guidance.
This would have saved me butchering a couple of Enfield clutch centres. But I have decided to just get on and make it.
Thats odd the post has come up twice. Bizarre.
