Hope all is well for those D.Bikers and loved ones in the flood areas on both sides of the oceans. Get your bikes to high ground! :arrow:

Yes things have been really wet down under, many roads closed - hopefully things will improve soon. Only a few weeks ago I had an interesting experience crossing a rather deep and fast flowing weir up near the Barrington Tops National Park. Thankfully it wasn't on the Enfield :) but a dirt bike.

Just in case you need it an ex rally driver once told me if your car conks out midway whilst fording water its possible to get the car out using the starter motor alone. Never tried it personally and I doubt many down-under have either but it might work :D

Probably true if you are talking petrol, water plays havok with spark plugs, if you are talking diesel better look for a new engine.
