No snow lets go

Post by DieselFly »

Just got back from a short ride. Hey so what if its December 4th in Canada an 1.8c outside. The punsun fired right up smoked for about five minutes and was running smooth in 10 minutes. Where is my Santa suit?
Finished and riding 1975
CB500t Turbo Punsun powered

The UK is snowbound and freezing, my Lombardini motor needs a squirt of wd40 to wake it up in the morning, if you leave it idling cold then it 8 strokes and blows white smoke rings.

It will start right down to minus 8, after this the oil gets too thick for kick starting.

I must be to acclimatised to hot weather, when it gets down to 1C I tend to retreat inside, the hot climate has been to kind it seems .............. :).

I've seen some recent photo's of the U.K Dave ............ eeeekkkk "minus 8" that is cold.

Have to say them L100's tend to start really well when it is cold, it does get down to freezing here, sometimes the Enfield will start first kick, sometimes I run the engine over a few times then kick it.

A ;)
