More progress!

Just a shot of a rideable mockup I did over thanksgiving. So much more work needs to be done, but progress is being made.

Here we go - some updates finally.

I can't weld well. I'm working on it, but I don't trust my 'skills' at all. So I've been saving up money and went with a custom frame builder, Cycle One Manufacturing, to build me a frame.

Right. So the bike has been home in Ohio for all this time, and, unfortunately, I go to school in Alabama. So I haven't been able to work on it except for over breaks. The good news is that this week is exam week. So after this week, I'll be heading home and get this thing finished. I'll kick it int...

Once I get a driver/driven combo I'll cobble up a more permanent oil return line.

I also did the PCV valve modification described by some guy on YouTube. Pretty straightforward, actually. Everything came out great.

Next is the plenum chamber.

Yeah, that drain tube was the one that came with the restrictor kit. I have another flange that I'll weld a shorter barb fitting on to. My first choice for the drain would be the oil fill hole, but I'm not familiar with BST. Does anyone know what the threads are for the oil fill holes of these engin...

DieselFly - Did you have any issues drilling into your engine? Any crack propagation? How'd tapping the hole go for you?

What about blocking the PCV valve with epoxy or something and installing a breather on the crankcase cover?

Also, to where did you drain your turbo? Did you drill a hole in the crankcase cover or go through one of the oil fills?
