I also have a 186 Diesel that I purchased from "diesel generator spares",http://www.directequipmentsales.co.uk, for 280 pounds. This engine includes the solenoid stop which should make it easy to make the bike stop on the turn of the key.
Seing as I am a complete noob at fabricating anything, Tim has kindly offered to help make up the new frame for the bigger engine (which should be easily done!) and from there I will be using a taper lock from the bearingboys and utilising the original primary transfer case
I will post some pictures up soon and hopefully we can get a progress thread started
