Hey All,

I recently decided I wanted to convert a small street bike over to Diesel power. I plan and doing the standard 10hp Yanmar clone and street ride this as much as I can. I Came across the Site and spent a good while going through the previous post's and got a bunch of great Ideas.

So far I have Located a running titled 1978 Kawasaki KZ200 and will Proceed on the project as soon as I can find a Nice Priced 10hp yanmar clone.

Heres the bike. It is low miles and in excellent shape except it is almost worth nothing.... Perfect for the swap! Anyhow, I am glad to be here!

Glad to have you on board. Where are you located? Guess you dropped in just after the request by the moderators to add locations to our profiles LOL.

So with Deezil as a name guess the Kawy will have to be something like Deezaki Deezil Look forward to watching your build in here.

I am In St Louis Mo. I Have updated my profile to reflect that.

I use the Name Deezil on most of the forums I Visit or DeezilDennis.
Mainy because I used to have a Powerstroke Diesel Ford truck so I just stuck with it.

As for the Bike I was thinking something like "Kawieselsaki"

Hey Deezil Welcome to the forum, them yanclones are a good popular engine for bikes, they also seem to be reliable.

Keep us posted how you go with the conversion, looking forward to seeing how it goes.
