MZ/Robin
I have now obtained an MZ ETZ250 frame which apparantely is longer than the ETZ251. I notice that some conversions have the engine tilted forwards and I was wondering if there had been any oil pickup problems particularly on the Robin? Also on the subject of MZs has anyone fitted a TS250(16") front wheel to the later bikes to gain clearance? I'm still at the "mock up" stages and playing about with bits of cardboard but hopefully the welder will be in action soon

the build is now under way and the engine is (temporarily) in place along with the Aixam transmission. as I have commented elsewhere the Robin engine has to be offset to the right as the shaft is on the same side as the flywheel so although the weight is balanced the cylinder is sticking out on the right of the bike. It's not so obvious with the tank in place.I did try to post a pic but it's too complicated for me.If anyone can supply an email address and post it for me I'll send it to them
