Got the bike going today and took her for a ride. Huge amounts of low end torque, like a two wheeled tractor!! I'll now disasemble it, gusset the frame then paint it and back together. pietenpol2002, The stator has been removed completely, and the conrod removed and rebalanced which was easy because it's a two stroke engine.

Oil has been added to crankcase for bearing lubrication. The bike will be bumpstart, but will kik start when warm

new build yanmar

Hi all. thought I'd build a diesel bike with stuff I had lying about. I have a small supercharger which I may add after it is running. you can see the supercharger in the photo.
