Are you aware that there's a diesel bike that already uses this technology? I saw it at a bike show a couple years back. I believe on his, the throttle controlled the engine RPM, and the "shifter" controlled the hydrostatic drive. Could be mistaken. You can find more info at http://www.hyd...

Okay, the couple tables i received where rather complicated. So i searched through the dieselmotorcycle archives and found the link. The link for future reference is here http://www.angelfire.com/fl/procrastination/rear.html So i entered in 3600 RPM, a rear axle gear ratio of 6 (10 teeth front, 60 t...

Wow! Thanks for posting about this. I had no idea that there was more coming. I loved the "Long Way Around" DVDs. I haven't read the book yet. I'll have to keep an eye out for that on Ebay.

I've got a little 211cc launtop that i'm planning to put in a bike shortly. I picked up a barely used Torq-a-verter (believe it's the same as the TAV2), and am planning to use that. I was just making sure it would fit last night. The mounting holes line up just fine, but the built in jackshaft stick...
